Kieran Mahon Memorial Run

Kieran Mahon Memorial Run
Mondello Park → Spa-Francorchamps → Nürburgring → Home
The BMW made it across Europe. We reached Spa, Nürburg and the Nürburgring, survived warning lights, a police stop, a no-start morning and the long run back to Cherbourg.
Most importantly, the fundraiser for St Francis Hospice Raheny has passed €5,000 — more than double the original €2,500 target.
Why we're doing it
In aid of St Francis Hospice, Raheny
Kieran was cared for by St Francis Hospice, Raheny. This run is our way of remembering him while raising money for the hospice and the care it provides to families when they need it most.

Update #1
Dublin to Spa and the Nürburgring
The ferry, France, Spa, warning lights, a police stop and finally making it to Nürburg.

Update #2
The car broke. The Ring was closed. We made the ferry.
A no-start in Nürburg, the final push through France, one very unnecessary swim and the sticker promise paid off.

The memorial T-shirt is separate from the hospice fundraiser: shirt sales help cover the costs of making the trip happen, while donations through iDonate go directly to the fundraising campaign for St Francis Hospice.
Drive cars. Make friends. Be OK.
